The ACT Comets currently play in the Futures League coordinated by Cricket Australia for 2nd XI State/Territory Cricket Associations.

Season 2010/11 saw the Comets crowned Champions of the Futures League 3 day competition run by Cricket Australia. Some fantastic performances throughout the competition saw Nathan Lyon earn a call up to the South Australian redbacks for the T20 Big Bash League, as well as other players being looked at for higher honours.

ACT representatives include Australia's Brad Haddin, Michael Bevan and Mark Higgs.
