Introduction to Coaching - PD for Teachers

Cricket ACT now offer an Introduction to Coaching Course to assist teachers with attaining a grasp of Australia’s greatest game.

The program involves three parts:

• 90 minute practical coaching session coordinated by Cricket ACT staff
• Online interactive module
• Cricket ACT asses course participants during MILO in2CRICKET S’COOL Clinics at your school

The course has an emphasis on the following

1. Group Leadership
2. Management of Cricket games
3. Organisational skills
4. Communication techniques
5. Key Cricket coaching principals
6. Increased confidence and competence in your coaching ability

What do the teachers get?

• Certificate of attainment
• Cricket coaching resources (extra charge)
• Access to Cricket ACT development officers to assist in coaching sessions

The program also encourages neighbouring senior and junior schools to build partnerships that ensure maximum benefit for both schools.

Cost: $15 per teacher (includes Introduction to Cricket booklet)

Cost: $10 per teacher (does not include Introduction to Cricket booklet)
