AIMS OF CRICKET ACT HIGH PERFORMANCE


  • To provide a cricket coaching program that will develop a player who is skillful, responsible and a self reliant decision maker in match conditions.
  • To provide an environment for the development of a cricketer capable of playing at the 1st class level or beyond.


GLOBAL AIM


The CACT High Performance coaching staff is committed to developing a cricketer who will be equipped to play at the highest level and where possible achieve first class status or beyond.


THE AIMS OF THE CACT HIGH PERFORMANCE PATHWAY


To provide an effective and integrated elite player development pathway (To identify talented young cricketers in the ACT & Region).
To monitor the progress of these players from age 12 to 17
To provide the opportunity for players to be selected for Cricket Australia Development Programs and have players competing successfully
To provide senior, junior & school teams across the ACT with better prepared players in so doing improve the standard profile of all local levels of cricket (provide a point of difference)
To promote CACT throughout the ACT/region and in doing assist the development of our game.
To provide an environment that balances each player’s cricket development with his educational, social and family responsibilities. To provide a welfare structure that caters for the development of personal, social and life skills.
To integrate the CACT High Performance Programs with the rest of the cricket community and to complement development programs
