Abode Hotels ACT Meteor Hayley Jensen has been selected in the T20I squad for the New Zealand White Ferns for their upcoming series against the West Indies.

Pace-bowler Jensen will play out the WNCL season with the Abode Hotels ACT Meteors before heading to New Zealand for the five-game series in March.

Jensen joined the Meteors at the beginning of the 2017/18 season and has been a brilliant addition to the side showing plenty of promise in the opening four matches.

Jensen made a name of herself at the end of last year with a standout performance in the Women’s Ashes tour match at Manuka Oval against the Australian Women’s Cricket Team where she took 5-26.

Jensen made her International debut for the White Ferns in 2014, and has played in four one-day internationals and nine Twenty20 matches to date.

Most recently Jensen has also been playing for the Melbourne Renegades in the Rebel Women’s Big Bash League.
