ACT Rockets captain Matt Floros spoke on his selection for Australia and travelling to Dubai for the World Cup. “I am very excited to be back in the Australian team with four teammates from the ACT Rockets. I can't wait to experience a new country and it's culture, make new friends and hopefully top it off by defending the world title.”
Also speaking on her selection, Koski said, “being selected for the Australian Open Women is a wonderful privilege and having the opportunity to tour Dubai with the group is something very special for me. It is great to hear that Sri Lanka will be competing this year as well as England, New Zealand and South Africa. I'm sure the competition has strengthened since 2014 which will be a fantastic challenge for all the Australians to maintain our incredible record.”
The players will now begin preparing for the World Cup which starts in September where the Australian sides will be looking to defend their titles.
