Tim Floros has been chosen as the 2016 International Men’s Player of the Year last week for his efforts in the previous year for Australia. Floros was also recently part of the ACT Rockets side which claimed the national title in Mackay last week, during the tournament he scored 123 runs in 10 matches while also taking 14 wickets, only conceding 35 runs.

Floros spoke after receiving the award, “I am so deeply honored to be named 2016 International Mens Player of the Year, to be ranked amongst the greats of the game and some of my heroes is something I couldn't have even dreamed of. I would like to thank everyone for all their support and kind words.”

Floros has also been selected to represent Australia at the 2017 Indoor Cricket World Cup in Dubai later this year but will also represent his side, the Wolves, at the final series of the National Indoor Cricket League in Melbourne prior to departing for the tournament.

Upon his return from the World Cup, Floros will then begin preparation for the ACT Premier Cricket competition for the Tuggeranong Valley Cricket Club as they look to defend their title from last season.
