The players' votes are in for the 2017/18 WBBL ACA All*Star Team of the Year. 

Playing for the Sydney Thunder in the Rebel Women's Big Bash League, Canberran Sam Bates picked up 16-wickets in WBBL|03 with an economy rate of 5.88.

Bates played in all 14 matches for the Thunder with her best figures of 3-12 coming against the Hurricanes on New Year Eve and earning her player of the match honours. 

ACA General Manager Cricket Operations Brendan Drew congratulated those selected in the team.
