Batting For Change aim is to provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged women in cricket-playing nations through raising funds for the LBW Trust.

Through BBL|07 fundraising, BFC is aiming to raise $100,000 to support the tertiary education of young women living in poverty through LBW Trust projects in the developing, cricket-playing world.

Players and Parents from our Emerging Meteors & Comets programs gathered at Radford College on Tuesday to hear from Ryan Carters himself and learn more about the importance of what Carters is working towards.

Carters played with the ACT Under 13’s through to the ACT Comets before he moved to Victoria in 2009 to continue his career.

As part of the partnership with Batting For Change, the logo will be placed on the sleeves of all our Emerging Programs training uniforms, across both indoor and outdoor.

We encourage all of our players to get involved in the Batting For Change Cup on January 13 in Sydney, before the Sydney Sixers take on the Sydney Thunder at the SCG.
