The Elite Under 19’s competition was launched this summer designed to play an integral part in selection for players from the region for the Under 18's Colts Carnival and as a pathway to earn opportunities to take part in their local performance squads and the Comet's program.

Head Coach of Cricket ACT Kyle Piper has commended the performance of players, with all those involved having a positive impact on the community.

“This tournament has been well received by all involved and has set the platform for the local community to strengthen its cricket culture long into the future. Our future club captains, committee members, volunteers and leading players are all involved in this competition,” said Piper.

CBR North took out the inaugural season undefeated from their five matches. Standout performances included a knock of 127 from CBR North's Nick Groenewegen in Round 4 and five-wicket hauls to both CBR South's Ben Cadden (5/37) and Tyler Hays (5/79).
