Tuggeranong Valley v Eastlake

Eastlake and Tuggeranong were the first teams in four seasons to play on the revamped Phillip Oval. Eastlake batted first and compiled 5/129 off its 20 overs, with Ellie Hicks and Janet King leading the charge with 34 and 35 runs respectively off 39 balls. Tuggeranong’s Meg Woodberry strived hard to reduce the run rate taking 2/27 off four overs.

In reply, Tuggeranong captain Jamie Kneebone led the charge clubbing 27 runs off 30 balls. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting fell away and Tuggeranong were bowled out for 65 runs off 14.1 overs. Sophie Jung was the star of the bowling attack taking 4/10 off 3.1 overs including a hattrick, and was supported by Fleta Page who took 3/22 off four overs.

Eastlake won the game by 64 runs.

Ginninderra v Weston Creek Molonglo

Due to wet weather the game was abandoned before the first innings could be completed leading to the game finishing with a draw.
