Billy Floros is set to continue as head coach of the ACT Rockets in 2019. The Ex-Australian representative player has been very successful for the ACT over few years amassing three national titles as coach. He has been involved with the Open Men’s Australian team as an assistant coach during the WICF World Cup in 2017, and currently plays in the Masters competition.
Billy will also continue to be supported by long-term Rockets manager Marie Hart.
Jake Floros has also been appointed as the new head coach of the Under 21 Men’s side. Jake brought the ACT 15 & Under boys all the way to the Grand Final at last year’s National Championships, and has also coached the winning 15 & Under boys Australian team at the 2018 Junior World Series.
The ACT Rockets will be looking to defend their title at the Indoor Cricket National Championships this July at Casey Stadium, Victoria. The Rockets have achieved tremendous success in recent times winning three national titles in four years. The Rockets have had strong representation in Australian representative sides, involving six in the Open Men’s division and three in the U21’s Division in the past two years.
