Cricket Australia have today announced a 13-player Australia A squad that will play matches against the England Women's Team and England Women's Academy. 

Abode Hotels ACT Meteor Maitlan Brown has been named on the back of her strong performance at the recent National Performance Squad (NPS) camp in Brisbane. 

Coincidiing with the Commonwealth Bank Ashes Tour of England, the Australia A squad will play a warm-up match on June 29 and a mixture of T20, 50-Over and Three-Day matches from July 3 through to July 19. 

21-year old Brown has been a part of Cricket Australia's NPS squad for two years and is looking forward to the opportunity.

"To be able to represent my country at any level is a privilege," said Maitlan Brown 

"Hopefully I can take a few poles and show the Australian selectors i can take it to the next level. 

Former Meteor turned NSW Breaker Erin Burns has also been selected in the squad.
