The ACT Over 40's have finished in top spot and will play in the major semi-final today at the Masters Indoor Championship
The fixture rounds of the 2018 Australian Indoor Masters Championships have wrapped up and the ACT Under 40's have finished in top spot, proceeding to the major semi final today.
While the ACT have been the in form side during the entire championships, their opponent Queensland should not be underestimated.
As a result of high pressure, both of their battles in the competition thus far have been low scoring.
The winner of today's match will secure their spot in tomorrow's Grand Final, while the loser will face the winner of the minor semi-final between NSW and WA in a preliminary final this afternoon.
For the ACT, Jason Hays (132 runs & 13 wickets) has showed his capabilities in all facets of the game, whilst Mick Ferris (19 wickets) has been dominant with ball in hand.
On a Queensland front, Stewart James (135 runs & 10 wickets) has been key in their big clashes, and has been well supported by Eric Petersen (137 runs) and Scott Rainbow (110 runs & 12 wickets).
The match starts at 3.45pm EST and will be live-streamed. Links will be shared on the Cricket ACT facebook page and Cricket ACT twitter.
