ACT/NSW Country Comets Coach Aiden Blizzard has today announced the squad to travel to South Australia for Round 3 of the Toyota Futures League commencing on Monday.

Jason Sangha and Jonathan Cook will both be making their Comets debut, while Harry Medhurst will come back in to the side. Unfortunately Jono Dean is still unavailable due to an ongoing shoulder injury.

Blizzard commented on the selections, “Jonathan (Cook) has performed extremely well for Western Suburbs this season and is the leading wicket taker with 23 wickets at 15.9. His leg spin will be a welcome addition and variety to our bowling attack,”

“We’re also excited to have Jason (Sangha) available for his first futures match with us. Jason has come through the ACT/NSW Pathway having captained our U17 team and will be captaining our U19’s team next month in Hobart.”

The squads have also been announced for this Sunday’s Plan B Regional Bash and Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup fixtures.
