The "How We Play" document defines Cricket ACT's holistic approach to the game, emphasizing that success on the field is equally driven by both Player Development and Player Identity. It outlines a detailed framework in which physical, technical, and tactical competency are linked to mental resilience and personal growth. As players progress through their cricket journey - from community programs to senior and elite levels - this approach ensures that their development as players is complemented by the cultivation of key personal behaviours.

Cricket ACT acknowledges the Traditional Custodians and ancestors of the land we live and meet on, the Ngunnawal people. Cricket ACT acknowledges that other people and families also have a traditional connection to the lands of the ACT and region and we respect this connection to country. We honour and pay respect to the Elders in our local communities, both past and present.

We celebrate the participation of First Nations peoples, families and communities, and recognise their individual and collective shared connection and history with cricket. We are committed to listening and learning about how we as people, an organisation and community advocate for equitable outcomes and positive futures with all First Nations peoples.
