ACT Rockets claim third straight Indoor Nationals title

The ACT Rockets have once again proven their dominance in Australian Indoor Cricket, clinching the Men's Open title at the 2025 National Indoor Cricket Championships held in Joondalup, Western Australia.

In a thrilling grand final, the Rockets defeated Queensland with a commanding score of 85–61, securing their third consecutive national title and sixth overall. This marks the first Men's Open three-peat since Queensland achieved the feat from 2012 to 2014, making the ACT Rockets just the second State/Territory to accomplish this milestone.

This latest triumph adds to an impressive legacy, with previous titles won in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2023, 2024, and now 2025. The Rockets’ consistent excellence over the years has solidified their reputation as one of the premier teams in the sport, winning six of the last nine national tournaments.

Adding to the celebrations, ACT Rockets legend Vinesh Bennett was inducted into the Indoor Cricket Hall of Fame during the championship presentation dinner. Bennett, who announced his retirement from international indoor cricket last season, boasts an incredible career including 12 Australian tours and five World Cup appearances.

Congratulations to all of the players who contributed to the ACT Rockets squad in 2025.
