Cricket ACT is excited to be partnering with Cricket Australia Coach Development to deliver our next Representative Coaching Course (Level 2) in 2025.
This course will cover the updated curriculum aligned to CA’s new Coach Development Framework and is a great opportunity for all coaches who are looking to further develop their coaching knowledge.
The topics covered in the course include:
- Creating and manipulating practice environments.
- Skill Acquisition via problem solving.
- Exploring coaching philosophies.
- Technicalities of scoring runs and taking wickets.
- Principles of teaching and learning.
- Operating as a Coaching Learner, Reflective Practice.
- Mental Skills/Sports Psychology.
- Managing Stakeholders.
- Creating and using physical learning environments.
- Ongoing program development.
Course Overview
Eligibility : To be eligible to apply for Representative (Level 2) Coach Accreditation, coaches must have
- Held a valid Level 1 Community Coach Accreditation for 12 months or more.
- Have completed Advance Coach Modules by logging in to CA LMS
Complete an Expression of Interest that demonstrates they are coaching in this cricket context following the steps mentioned in attached doc.

Course Fee: $600 (payable upon registration)

Online Learning:
Access to 11 Representative Coaching Modules to be completed by 31st August
National Webinars by Cricket Australia:
22nd July: Coaching Practice
23rd July: Player Development
29th July: Coaching Environments
Face-to-Face Sessions (Delivered by Cricket ACT):
10 practical sessions throughout August & September (dates & times to be confirmed)
Final Assessment (September):
Coaches will deliver a live coaching session demonstrating their ability to apply modern coaching practices and create effective learning environments. Successful candidates will receive Representative Coaching Accreditation from Cricket Australia.
