Representative Coaching Course

Cricket ACT is excited to be partnering with Cricket Australia Coach Development to deliver our next Representative Coaching Course (Level 2) in May 2024.

This course will cover the updated curriculum aligned to CA’s new Coach Development Framework and is a great opportunity for all coaches who are looking to further develop their coaching knowledge.

The topics covered in the course include:

  • Creating and manipulating practice environments.
  • Skill Acquisition via problem solving.
  • Exploring coaching philosophies.
  • Technicalities of scoring runs and taking wickets.
  • Principles of teaching and learning.
  • Operating as a Coaching Learner, Reflective Practice.
  • Mental Skills/Sports Psychology.
  • Managing Stakeholders.
  • Creating and using physical learning environments.
  • Ongoing program development.

To be eligible to apply for a Representative (Level 2) Coach Accreditation, coaches must have:

  • Held a valid Level 1 Community Coach Accreditation for 12 months or more. 
  • Completed Advance Coach Modules by logging in to CA LMS.
  • Completed an Expression of Interest that demonstrates you are coaching in this cricket context.

Cost of the course is $600.
